Bath Historic Run Tour

This is not a boring history lesson! It’s a fun, relaxed 90-minute run through Bath, discovering the stories, secrets and fascinating facts hidden around our beautiful city.

We’ll meet at The Ring O Bells in Widcombe at 6.30pm on Friday 4th September, and finish back there for a drink together at the end.

Our guide, Mike, is a PMC runner and also a member of the Mayor of Bath’s Corps of Honorary Guides. So when it comes to Bath, what he doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing! He’s great at bringing the city to life with fascinating stories and behind the scenes knowledge, showing us places and details that most of us walk past every day.

We’ll cover around 3–5km in total, but this isn’t a race or a continuous run. The distance is broken into short bursts as we move between different points of interest, we run, stop, listen, laugh, discover, then run on!

It’s completely free and you don’t need to bring anything special, and you certainly don’t need to be a history buff.

Just turn up ready for 90 minutes of exploring and seeing Bath in a whole new way.
