About

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is a truly rewarding experience. The challenge is to cover the 24 mile route summiting each of the most famous peaks in Yorkshire: Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m), and Ingleborough (723m) in under 12 hours.

A Fun Weekend Awaits!

Completeing the route in the time allowed is the main focus, but this is also more than that, it is a whole weekend experience. The group will be kept in tentionally small, with a maximum of 8 people, I do this in order to foster camaraderie, teamwork, and to maximise your chances of completing the challenge within the allotted time. We will leave Bath at 12 pm Friday, driving up to the Peaks by minibus so there is plenty of time to get to know one other and always time for much hilarity! Traffic allowing we will arrive at the barn, our home for the weekend, by 5:30 pm. This will give us time for a cuppa and some relaxation before heading 5min down the road to the local Inn for a hearty meal and our planning session.

Challenge Day

We will start the challenge bright and early at 6am on Saturday. There will be a wide selection of foods on offer to fuel you ahead of your big day in the hills. I will drive you to the start point and you will set off complete with route maps and GPX routes downloaded. I will meet you at pre-organised locations along the route with resupplies and motivation.
