Some one was watching over us for this inaugural event. Only an hour before the heavens had opened and the rain thundered down around the streets of Bath. However, as the hour approached for us to join at the Abbey it dried up and allowed us to have a wonderful run around the gorgeous streets of Bath under sparkle of the Christmas lights.
We had a mixed group and many firsts were accomplished on the night. some ran further than they ever had before, others had never run at night, others only ran alone and fancied talking and meeting like minded people. Stuart, who’s idea Run This Town is, had come from London to join us for this run. It was great to have him along with us.
The pint and chips were eagerly consumed as we finished in the centre of town.
