"Kerry gave an informed talk at the MdS UK conference. She provided future competitors with invaluable insight into preparation, training and self-management whilst also providing fascinating anecdotes of her experiences on the MdS."

Steve Diederich, Marathon de Sables UK

I have given presentations to a wide variety of audiences from businesses, schools and expos. During these events I have used my story to encourage individuals to aim higher and not set limits on their potential. I use first hand experiences to demonstrate that when you have a goal and follow this with passion you can make your dreams turn into a reality.

It's all about taking the first step.

Presentations:

Bath University

“I am grateful to Kerry for sharing her expertise with the University of Bath students on our final year course on the neuropsychology of physical experience. There are not many elite performance athletes who can reflect on their unique experiences. Kerry’s insights into how she manages fatigue in ultra-racing beautifully illustrated the function of fatigue to force disengagement from activity. In describing the moment by moment challenges of racing, she brought the science into a sparkling new light.”

Berkhampstead Society

“Kerry’s story of her journey ‘so far’ was believable but, at the same time, remarkable. As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I can safely say that Kerry is an inspiration not only to those who are keen on ultra-running but also to many others from all walks of life. An inspirational presentation given by Kerry to the society event last night. Kerry gave an insight into ultra running and her journey so far, it was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you once again and we hope to see you here again."

Prior Park 6th Form

A presentation on mindset and self-belief ahead of A levels:

“It shows that with the right level of motivation anything is possible”

“I was even inspired me to go running!”

And on ultra running to A Level PE students:

“It was fantastic to have Kerry come in and speak to our Lower 6th PE students

this week. They thoroughly enjoyed the session and found it very engaging. They

not only enjoyed hearing about Kerry’s ultra running, and some of the events she

has competed in, but they also found it useful to see how her training and diet

relates to some of the areas of theory in the A Level PE course. They were full of

questions at the end of the session!”

Natural Spa Factory

“It was great to have Kerry come in and talk to our team. Sport and business are aligned and she certainly spurred everyone on to believe in themselves, be the best they can be and to never give up. A fabulous motivator and great athlete.”

Pangbourne College

“Inspiring, motivational and incredible are just some of the words that describes the engaging and interactive lecture our students received from Kerry. Her focus was on her experiences as an ultramarathon runner and the vigorous preparation (short & long) she goes through. It was so relevant to any GCSE and A-Level course or anyone interested in sport. Our students gained so much from this lecture and many have taken up running as a result! Thank you so much for inspiring us all.”

The Paragon School.

"Kerry joined a panel of elite athletes, such as Lewis Moody and Jason Gardener, to advise the school on the provision of sport for young children. Her knowledge as an athlete and as a mum (of four) was very valuable and insightful. For little kids it is so important to help them enjoy physical activities and try out different sports and Kerry is a role model for helping to make this happen."

"Kerry came to talk to Paragon pupils and staff about her adventures as a super-marathon runner and it was an excellent session and well received. She is an inspiration for adults and children alike."
